process: Crickets and sugar birds singing, frogs croaking, doves cooing. My contribution to this wondrous equatorial island song is the gentle sound of hammering from my studio. Using high magnification, I create a sheath of tiny micro taps to encircle the surface of shimmering gold hoops. Beaten gold appears to be forged of the sun’s brilliance. Mnemosyne means “memory” and “remembering”. Who are you? Why are you here? It’s time to remember…
dimensions: The circles are 3/8ths of an inch in diameter. Including the ear wire, the earrings measure 1 and 1/8th inches long.
