Our deep connection to the sun and moon cannot be overstated. I made this dancing-under-the-full-moon ring to remind you of this, setting a vintage lenticular toy in silver to sway and dance with every movement. These call to mind the Truth or Buddha full moon that falls at the time of year that celebrates the Buddha’s enlightenment.

Whenever I see the moon, in the day or night sky, I send it love and gratitude :)

If you are not familiar with lenticulars, they show a different view of the image depending on the angle of viewing. One image morphs beautifully into the other as you move. I’ve tried to show this in the photographs but it is a challenge. Please see the video below :)
measurements: This unusual ring measures 1 and 3/8 inches wide by almost 1 inch high and is a size 7.5. I am unable to size this, but I do have several more of these lenticulars, so you can contact me if you would like one made in your size.
process: fabrication, roll printing, stone setting and patina

*The lenticular toys are made of plastic, but they do have a paper backing, so it is best to not get these wet. Wipe with a damp cloth to clean. Be gentle with its surface.
