My angel automaton pendant in Metal Clay Artist Magazine

It was so nice to get this in the mail today--my stately guitar-playing angel automaton pendant is in the gallery section of Metal Clay Artist Magazine's March issue!

The adorable mug I am drinking tea from is made by the amazing Kaye Thomas Eichner, a local potter whose ethos really speaks to me. She made it especially for me,  with a little bird saying my name and "Love City, St John" . I love her!  You will too when you read what she says about her work:

"My functional wares are created to honor our daily ceremonial rituals:  sharing a lovely home cooked meal with family, enjoying a pot of hot tea in the evening, or fine libations with cherished ones. Such time and preparation is utilized into such occasions, I believe handmade functional artwork only serves too well as an accompaniment. Not only honoring the ceremony or occasion, but also honoring the spirit and soul with beauty and art."

She sells her gorgeous wares at several galleries and shops on St John and her  website is here:  www.claykaye.com
